I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of the recent writings which have appeared on my social platforms LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
The month of September saw so much activity. As well as the book launch at the Royal Automobile Club, there was the beginning of the book deliveries, competition at the Goodwood Revival and the first reactions to The Past and The Spurious – The Case of Legitimacy in Historic Cars.
To mark the launch of The Past And The Spurious – The Case of Legitimacy in Historic Cars the Pall Mall headquarters of @royalautomobileclub kindly hosted an evening under the title of: ‘Handshakes, Snakes and Possibly Fakes: Salutary Tales For Classic Car Owners’
The gathering saw a panel of Gregor Fisken, Michael Squire, Matthew Collings KC, Neil Twyman and Eddie McGuire moderated by Simon Taylor in a discussion of some of the issues raised in the book.
Watch the video above to hear the first reactions.
BOOK OF THE MONTH!
Oh Wow! This morning I opened this month’s edition of Classic & Sports Car magazine to see that The Past And The Spurious – The Case of Legitimacy in Historic Cars is Book of the Month!
Thank you @classicandsportscar for the recognition.
At the @goodwoodrevival, honouring Queen Elizabeth II.
She was a frequent visitor to the estate and we were proud to be part of the Duke’s tribute before the start of the Freddie March Trophy.
Once underway in our Connaught, the race developed into a spectacular competition into the night.
